The Washhouse

This place may look like a plain old laundrette from the outside, but if you happen to get a little closer, you soon realise that the washing machine looks a little more like a door than a machine!  If you pick up the random dial phone and say to the operator, "you are here to do a load”, the rest takes care of itself.  However, please note that it’s best to book a washing machine in advance, as it's a really popular place!

Evelyn’s

A brunch spot that is just incredible, both for it's food, and for Instagram/photography lovers!  They also have a fantastic balance of vegetarian, meat, and fish-based dishes, so there's something for everyone there. The food is also very reasonably priced too, and situated just 5 minutes’ walk east from the Arndale shopping centre.

Museums and Art Galleries

This descries more than one amazing gallery or Museum, as Manchester has so many to choose from.  For example, the Science and Industry Museum, the IWM North, Chetham Library and National Football Museum, amongst many other historical locations, museums and libraries! For the art fans there is the Manchester Art Gallery, the Portico Art Gallery... not to mention amazing sporadic street art spread across Manchester.
