Are you on a tight budget but have always wanted to explore the diverse city of London? Say no more! I have shared a list of 3 of my favourite fun things you can do in London, from as little as nothing! You’d be surprised how many cool things there are to do, with such little cost. Let’s get into it!
Free to visit and open daily to the public until 9pm or sunset in summer, Crossrail Place Roof Garden is one of London’s largest. Did I mention its free? Sit and admire the beauty around you. Filled with exotic plants and pathways, a relaxing way to start or end your day.
One of my favourite things to do while in London! The cable cars are not only super affordable but give you the most stunning view of Londons Skyline. Enjoy the short ride from the Greenwich Peninsula to the Royal Docks, or switch it up and get a package with a twist and enjoy a bottle of bubbly on your journey! The cable cars run late into the night, I would highly recommend getting there in time for the sun setting, If you want to see some pretty views!
Talk about instagram worthy, Unit 12, Ravenswood Industrial Estate, Shernhall St Walthamstow is the place to be. Filled with Funky art, featuring lightbulb signs, colourful neon & other eclectic pieces to keep your eyes entertained. It is free to enter, art pieces and drinks are available to buy. A small quirky space filled to the brim!
This is Sir Christopher Wren's riverside masterpiece and one of London's most loved attractions. Opened in 1694, it is the architectural centrepiece of Maritime Greenwich. There are many things to explore! Check out the painted hall, enjoy a pint at the old brewery or pop into the cafe for a bite to eat. There are lots of things to keep you entertained, a must see when in London.
Fall in love with this diverse and fashionable neighbourhood that features in the film, “Notting Hill” starring the famous Julia Roberts and Hugh Grant. Beautiful houses and unique boutiques all around and many yummy food spots too! A great place for a wonder. Browse one of the many bookstores, unwind in a cafe and take in the tranquil and friendly place that is Notting Hill.
Not many people know about this little hidden gem located in London, that is across the river thames going in-between Greenwich Peninsula and the Royal Docks. Every 30 seconds, cabins arrive and flights are approximately 10 minutes each way! For such a little price you can experience a unique way of getting from A to B, not to mention the incredible views to be seen.
