Russell-Cotes Art Gallery & Museum

Private home of extensive travellers Sir Merton Russell-Cotes and his wife Lady Annie. This was one of the last Victorian manor houses ever built! In 1901 Merton Russell-Cotes gave his wife Annie her very own dream house on a cliff-top, overlooking the sea. Talk about a grand birthday gift! They filled this lavish seaside villa with unique and stunning objects from their travels across the world. Enjoy a guided tour around the property and take in the stunning seaside view.

Hengistbury Head Beach

Take a stroll along this south facing sand and pebble beach and take in the incredible views along the way. Hengistbury Head is a 3.7 Mile Circular Walk and is dog friendly! Make sure to pop into the nearby visitor centre to discover the history of Hengistbury Head, there is also a cafe, perfect for a hot cuppa and a sweet treat after a long walk.
