The Harry Potter Tree

This majestic, 300 year old, 55ft tall, 20ft diameter, Cedar of Lebanon tree, sits alone by a lake at Blenheim Palace. It was once featured in "Order of the Phoenix”. To this day Harry Potter fans travel from far across the world just to see this special tree up close and personal, however the tree is now protected with a fence around it. Don’t worry, you can still get a good look, and for free! As the tree is on the Blenheim Palace Park grounds which has lots of free permissive pathways to walk on.


North Leigh Roman Villa

This ‘courtyard villa’ is considered to be one of the larger villas of Roman Britain. The remains of North Leigh Roman Villa are set within a tranquil landscape on the banks of the river Evenlode in Oxfordshire. This is a perfect spot for a picnic or a relaxing walk.


The Oxfordshire Museum

Open Tuesday through to Sunday this museum is located in an 18th-century house in the heart of Woodstock, with a purpose-built gallery hosting changing exhibitions. There are lots of interactive exhibits, and things to do and see for smaller children. Free to enter however a donation fee is recommended. A wonderful cafe is also there to offer you a variety of goodies plus a modern extensions house reception and shop!
